I am a Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts graduate, living in Philadelphia with my husband and two young daughters. I have always been drawn to iconic imagery of women in connection to nature and the idealized Mother from my own Catholic upbringing, to Pagan Goddesses of nature.
Painting for me is a constant personal exploration, and so my work reflects those changes as I go through my own stages of life. Recently, I am revisiting my girlhood through my daughters and their friends, reflecting on all the intensity and wonder of that time in my life in my portrayal of them.

My paintings have been compared to the work of Mexican painters and muralists in my use of bright, rich colors and high contrast. One of my strongest influences has always been the jewel like colors of stained glass from the many cathedrals visited here and abroad.
